Strawberry Heaven

Ingredients:
* 1 pint strawberries
* 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
* 2 cups whipped cream
Preparation:
Wash and hull the strawberries, then halve or quarter them into bite-sized chunks. Stir into a bowl with the sugar, cover and refirigerate about an hour, or until the sugar and strawberry juice have combined into a syrup at the bottom. Top with whipped cream and serve cold.
Serve alone, over vanilla or strawberry ice cream, or over shortcake for Strawberry shortcake.
